Poland has adopted the European Model Parking Card.

Parking spaces

Those reserved for a Parking Card holder are marked with the wheelchair symbol.

Do not park if the space is marked with someone's name or a licence plate number.

Where you may use your Parking Card

Polish Parking Card holders

You may use your Parking Card in most EU / EEA member states, and in some other countries around the world.

Look at the entry for the country you intend visiting to see if your Parking Card can be used.

Visitor to Poland

Visitor from another EU / EEA member state – you may use your Parking Card in Poland.

Visitor from outside the EU / EEA – you may use your Parking Card in Poland.

Parking on roads

Do not park on a road where parking is prohibited.

However, on a road where parking is restricted on odd and even days, you may park on either side provided you do not cause an obstruction or danger.

Do not park in a pedestrian zone unless the traffic signs allow it.

You may be permitted to drive into a restricted road or zone, but we advise that you enquire locally first.

In some areas, you may park free-of-charge and without time limit on a road where payment is required, but only in a space marked with the wheelchair symbol - check the parking signs or ask locally.

You may park without time limit on a road where parking is free but restricted by time.

Parking in car parks

Generally, there are no concessions for a vehicle displaying the Parking Card, but local variations can apply - check the car park notices or ask an attendant.
